MRS. GEORGE A. FOX  

Mrs. Emma C. Fox, sixty-seven years old, wife of George A. Fox of Madison-township, north of Bremen, died Friday afternoon in her home after only a few hours' illness.  She was born in Madison township February 20, 1879, the daughter of George and Christina Schlemmer, and was married to Mr. Fox in Madison township January 30, 1898.  She had spent her life in Madison township and was a member of Zion Evangelical Reformed church, where the funeral was held Monday with Rev. Philip Pobanz officiating.  Burial was in the Bremen Cemetery.   Surviving are her husband; three sons, Melvin, Wakarusa; Harold, Mishawaka, and Howard, Bremen; seven grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Dan Miller, Bremen and two brothers, George and Alvin Schlemmer, Bremen.
