SOUTH BEND - Mr. Russell Charles Foust, 104 passed away in
his South Bend residence in the early morning of Wednesday,
January 2, 2008. He was born December 12, 1903 in Huntington,
Indiana to the late Price Foust and Margaret Saul.
In 1954, he married Loriane Josephine (Fields)
Foust who survives, of South Bend. Russell is also survived by
his son, Jay D. (Cindy Seaman) Foust of South Bend; four
grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and
seven step-great-grandchildren. Mr. Foust was predeceased by a
stepson, Donny Litherland on May 11, 1992
He had lived in the South Bend area for over
50 years. He was an Automobile Salesman and loved being a clown
in the Barnum and Bailey Circus. He was also part of the Foust
Flying Dare Devils, Trapeze Artists. Mr. Foust owned a Lawn
Services Company after he retired. After he stopped the lawn
service, always wanting to stay busy, he would spend his days out
collecting cans and bottles sometimes with his son.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2008. Services will be at 4 p.m. immediately after visitation in McGann Hay Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood Dr. at Jefferson Blvd.
