MISHAWAKA - Sister M. Veronica Foster, OSF, 80, of Our Lady of Angels, St. Francis Convent, died at 7:05 a.m. Wednesday in her residence. Sister M. Veronica was born May 4, 1913, in Memphis, Tenn., as Catherine Foster. She entered the convent on Sept. 12, 1945, and received her Franciscan habit on Aug. 14, 1947. She was assigned to teaching and served in Indiana and Missouri; her last assignment was in Fort Wayne.

She is survived by three sisters, Dorothy Foster, Evelyn Foster and Virginia Foster, all of Memphis.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in chapel of St. Francis Convent. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. A wake will be at 6:45 p.m. today in the convent chapel. Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
