SOUTH BEND - Bridget Colleen Terrey Foster, 55, of South Bend, IN, died Sunday, April 6, 2008, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was currently employed with the Notre Dame Federal Credit Union and had previously worked for Kroger for 18 years. Bridget was born on January 9, 1953, in Michigan City, IN, to James Monahan and Donna (Dewesse) Terrey Sr., and had moved to South Bend in 1973, coming from Michigan City.

On August 17, 1996, in South Bend, IN, she married Tom J. Foster, who survives. Bridget is also survived by her daughter, Christine (Jonathan) Coury of Phoenix, AZ; a son, Richard (Debrielle) Lane of South Bend; stepsons, Charles A. (Kimberly) Foster of Las Vegas, NV, and Thomas J. Foster II of South Bend; seven grandchildren, Joseph Robert Coury, Anthony Benjamin Coury, Jonathan Albert Coury, Andon Joseph Lane and Brendon Matthew Lane; two step-grandchildren, Brienna Thomas and Brodie Thomas; her sister, Sandra (Jeff) Lambert of Michigan City; a brother, James (Beverly Dewitt) Terrey Jr. of South Bend; and a nephew, Jason Michael Terrey. A sister, Debora Checolo, preceded her in death. Bridget attended Purdue University and Vogue Beauty School. She was a member of Relay For Life and Bosom Buddies.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2008, in Christ the King Catholic Church, 52473 US 33 N., South Bend. Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, South Bend, is assisting the family with arrangements.
