Mishawaka
- Mary Foos, 52, of 1953 E. LaSalle Ave., died at 5:30 a.m.
Friday in her home after an illness. She was a former
manager of Nick’s Patio. She was born Jan. 15, 1940,
in Mishawaka, and was a lifelong resident. On Feb. 28,
1959, in South Bend, she married Jack L. Foos. He survives
with two daughters, Kim Biddle of Osceola and Tanya Ryan of
Mishawaka; four grandchildren; her father, Ralph K. Gill Sr. of
Mishawaka, three sisters, Betty Penrod and Carol Kline , both
of Mishawaka, and Shirley Young of Osceola; and four brothers,
Ralph K. Gill Jr. and Robert L. Gill of Mishawaka, Richard Gill
of Michigan and James Gill of Texas. She was a member of
First Church of God Mishawaka, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 360
Ladies Auxiliary and Power Squadron of South Bend.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola. Cremation will take place. Friend may call from 1 p.m. until services Monday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc. or the Cancer Society of St. Joseph County.
