Mrs. Lester Fondell

December 16, 1907 - September 13, 1972

Mrs. Margaret J. Fondell, 64, of 1518 Keller St., died at 5:25pm Wednesday in Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.

She was born on December 16, 1907, in Grand Ledge MI and had lived here most of her life.  In September 1956, she was married to Lester N. Fondell who survives.  Mrs. Fondell was the former Margaret Konopinski.  Also surviving are a stepson, Robert Fondell, of Mishawaka; two daughter, Mrs. Betty Holcomb of Mishawaka and Mrs. Donna Bragg of South Bend; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; six brothers, Leo of South Bend, James & Donald, both of Mishawaka, Bert of Lakeville, Louis of Dowagiac and Edward of Niles; and three sisters, Mrs. Irene Olivier and Mrs Katherine Muszynski; both of South Bend and Mrs. Dorothy Kesner of Mishawaka.

Friends may call from 7 to 9pm today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Friday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St.  Services will be held at 9:30am Saturday in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Rev. William J. Neidhart, CSC, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery.
