Sister Mary Maurillus CSC, 90, of Saint Mary’s Convent, died at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday in the convent after an extended illness. She was born on Nov. 11, 1881 in Evanston, Ill., and as Florence Ashurst Foley, entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross in Evanston on March 1, 1906. She made her profession of vows on Aug. 15, 1908. She taught in elementary schools in Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, California and Idaho. She had resided in the Provincial Jouse at St. Mary’s Convent since 1944.

Friends may call today in the convent parlors, where a  rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today. Services will be at 7:10 a.m. Friday in Our Lady of Loretto Church, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery at St. Mary’s.
