Sister Mary Expedita CSC, 59, a teacher in elementary education at Saint Mary’s Convent, died at 7:45 a.m. Saturday in the convent. She was born in Illinois in 1879 as Mary Fogarty. She received the holy habit at St. Mary’s in 1899 and was professed there in 1902.

Funeral rites and burial will take place Monday morning at St. Mary’s
