Guido Focosi, aged 50, 809 E. Miner
Street, died at 4 a.m. today in his home following an illness of
19 months. He was born in Italy, Aug. 20, 1989, and had lived in
South Bend nine years coming from Mishawaka.
He married Ethel Rose Tirotta in
South Bend Oct. 12, 1940. Mr. Focosi had been employed by the
Ball-Band plant in Mishawaka, prior to his illness. Survivors are
his widow; two sons, Peter and Joseph Focosi, and a daughter
Julia Ann Focosi, all at home, and a sister Mrs. Lena Campoli,
of Mishawaka.
Friends may call in the home after 7 p.m.
today and until the funeral at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph
Catholic Church. Rev. Phillip V. Beaghan, pastor, will officiate
and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Mishawaka. Mr. Focosi
was a member of the St. Joseph Church and the Christopher
Columbus Society.
