Lorenz Fluegel

June 23, 1873 – May 20, 1945

Lorenz Fluegel, aged 71, of 429 Perry Street, died at 3am Sunday in St Joseph Hospital after an illness of two years.

He was born in Germany, June 23, 1873, and came here when he was 16 from Germany. 

Surviving are his widow, Emma, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Powell, of South Bend.

Friends may call in the residence tonight and until funeral services there at 3pm Wednesday.  Rev. Waldemar Gofferey, pastor of the  Zion Evangelical & Reformed Church, will officiate.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

He was a member of the Deutscher Fortbildungs Verein and of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, aerie No 435.
