Flory-Word was received of the death on June 28 of Frank C. Flory, 96, formerly of New Carlisle; at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. He was residing with his granddaughter, Mrs. Bruce D. Burrus. Military services were on July 1 at Mililand (Hawaii) Memorial Park. Chaplain Nicholis Woods of Kola Pass Chapel, officiated assisted by Missionary Rosemary Ulery, formerly of LaPorte. Flory was born on March 6, 1882, at Etna Green and was married to Edna M. Wright. She died in 1973. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. June Ames of Hawaii; a son, W. V. Flory of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Gearhart of Hamlet, Ind.
