Mrs. Margaret Fleischman

July 7, 1895 – December 22, 1976

Mrs. Margaret Fleischman, 81, of the Cardinal Nursing Home, died at 9:08pm Wednesday in St Joseph’s Hospital after a brief illness.  She was a seamstress for the former Lee Mercantile Co.

She was born July 7, 1895, in Germany, and had live here 53 years.  On September 22, 1923, as Margaret Stoekinger, she married John Fleischman, who died in April 1957.  Surviving are a son, John of South Bend and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 11am Monday in St John the Baptist Catholic Church, Rev. Joseph Jacobs, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in St Joseph Valley Memorial Park.  Friends may call from 7 to 9pm Saturday and 2 to9pm Sunday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home.
