Mrs. Zella Forst Fetters, 81, who resided with her granddaughter,
Mrs. June Kocsis, 14702 E. McKinley Hwy., died at 2 a.m. today in
St. Josephs Hospital. She had been ill for two weeks.
She was born on Nov. 27, 1880, in Coesse, Ind. She had spent most
of her life in South Bend, coming here from Goshen. She was
married to George Fetters, who died in 1954. She is survived a
daughter, Mrs. Berniece Roesner; two step-daughters, Mrs. Daniel
Barth and Mrs. Kenneth Clark and a stepson, George Fetters, all
of South Bend.
Mrs. Fetters was a member of Woodman of the World. Services will
be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Hollis Funeral Home, with Rev. John F.
Kutz, pastor of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial
will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral
home after 7 p.m. today.
