Arietta B. Ferris (Oct. 17, 1913 - March 16, 2001)

Arietta B. Ferris, 87, of 1705 S. Chapin Street, South Bend passed away at 9:50 p.m. Friday in the Cardinal Nursing & Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness.

Mrs. Ferris was born on October 17, 1913 in Indianapolis, Indiana and resided in the South Bend area since February 1997 coming from Grayling, Michigan.

In October 1947 in Rochester, Indiana as Arietta B. Bottorff she married Henry M. Ferris who preceded her in death on January 15, 2001.

Mrs. Ferris is survived by a daughter; Betty A. (Kenneth) Price, South Bend a step-daughter; Shirley Ann Eyrich, of Florida and two step-sons; Don Ferris, Plymouth, IN. and David Ferris, Osceola, Indiana.

Arietta is also survived by 7 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren who she loved and cherished.

Mrs. Ferris retired in 1975 from Stafan Wood Products, in Grayling, Michigan. She was also a graduate of Plymouth High School Plymouth, In. Class of 1931.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rita Mae Bottorff.

There will be no visitation or services, cremation will take place.

The family request that all memorial contributions be made to the charity of donors choice.
