Mary E. Ferrettie

Mary E. Ferrettie, 76, of Colonial Lane, South Bend, passed away at 6:28 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 23, 1999 in Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center, after a brief illness.
Mary was born on Dec. 4, 1923 in Mishawaka, to the late Charles A. and Ferne (Titus) Ferrettie. Also preceding her in death were a sister, Jean in 1960, and a brother, Charles "Bill" in 1980.
Surviving are a sister, Jacquelin (Joseph) Czarnecki of South Bend; two nieces, Linda Czarnecki and Kara Madaras, both of south Bend; four nephews, Greg Czarnecki of Dayton, Ohio, Ken Czarnecki of Granger, John Czarnecki of Wheaton, Ill., and Steven Czarnecki of South Bend; and a dear friend, Gerald Kamm of South Bend.
Mary was a member of the St. Matthew Cathedral in South Bend. She retired as a secretary for Gerald Kamm in the law firm of Doran, Manion, Boynton and Kamm.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, Dec. 28, in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home from 9 to 10:30 a.m. when prayers will be said prior to proceeding to St. Matthew Cathedral where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph County Right to Life or St. Matthew Cathedral.
