Mrs. Maria O. Ferrettie
Mrs. Maria O. Ferrettie, 79, of 211 W. 11th, died at 7:05 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Hospital after an extended illness. She was born on Sept. 23, 1899, in Piacenza, Italy, and had lived in the Mishawaka area since 1922, after coming from Italy. On Jan. 21, 1922, in Italy, as Maria O. Tinelli, she married Telesforo Ferrettie, who died on Dec. 8, 1959. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Ida) Madou and Mrs. Ted (Vilma) Zieke, both of Mishawaka; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Gina Aliprandi and Miss Bruna Tinelli, both of Italy, and two brothers, Roberto and Renalto Tinelli, both of Italy.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Ferrettie was a member of St. Bavos Catholic Church.

Services for Maria Ferrettie, 79, of 211 W. 11th, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Bavos Catholic Church. Rev. Stephen Cvaniga, the pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. She died Friday morning at St. Joseph Hospital. Friends may call at the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
