MISHAWAKA - Gerald L. Ferree, 66, of Weber Drive, died at 11:40 a.m. Saturday in Memorial Hospital of natural causes. Mr. Ferree retired from Don Medow Pontiac in 1991 as service manager after eight years of service and was employed at Yanson Chevrolet, Chicago Heights, Ill., for 23 years as a service director. He was born Nov. 10, 1927, in Worth, Ill., and moved to South Bend in 1984 from Hazel Crest, Ill.

On Feb. 26, 1949, in Chicago, he married Helen Taylor. She survives with a son, Rexford G. of Richton Park, Ill.; two grandchildren; a sister, Alice DeBell of Chicago Ridge, Ill.; and a brother, David of Deltona, Fla. He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church of Hazel Crest.

Services will be Wednesday in the church. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Chicago Ridge. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today in Hickey Funeral Home, 3516 E. Jefferson Blvd. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.

Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Chicago Ridge, Ill. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Zimny Funeral Home, Hazel Crest.
