July 21, 1933 -- June 11, 2004

Rocco "Rocky" V. Ferraro, 70, of Chandler Boulevard, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 7:45 a.m. Friday, June 11, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Ind.

Rocky was born on July 21, 1933, in South Bend, to Joseph and Mary (Barbaro) Ferraro. He was preceded in death by his father and his daughter, Mary Ann Ferraro, March 5, 2004.

Rocky worked at WNDU Television for 30 years in advertising sales, and was veteran of the U.S. Army.

On June 1, 1957, Rocky V. Ferraro married Rosetta Forte in St. Monica Catholic Church in Mishawaka.

Rosetta survives along with one son, Christopher J. Ferraro of Chicago, Ill.; one daughter, Julie A. Petersen and her husband, Rod of Mishawaka; three grandchildren, Jamie Petersen, Erin Petersen and Brian Petersen; his mother, Mary Ferraro of Mishawaka; one brother, Patrick Ferraro, and his wife, Barbara of South Bend; and two sisters, Theresa Pilarski and Rose Sullivan, and her husband, Edward, all of Mishawaka.

Family and friends may call on Monday, June 14, from 2 to 8 p.m. in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, where a Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15, in St. Monica Catholic Church, 222 W. Mishawaka Ave. Father James Stoyle will officiate the services, with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka.
