Patrick R. Ferraro

Patrick Rudolph Ferraro, 81, of South Bend, Ind., passed away Saturday, April 5, 2003, in Memorial Hospital of South Bend.

Patrick was born on Dec. 12, 1921, in Hillsville, Pa., to Rocco and Mary (Giangrasso) Ferraro, who preceded him in death. On March 3, 1951, Patrick married Goldie Marshall, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Sharon (Geoffrey) Chichester of Michigan City, Ind., Lynda Ferraro of Olympia, Wash., and Marie Kolecki of South Bend; a son, Rocco Ferraro of South Bend; ten grandchildren; four sisters, Teresa (Bernard) Miller of Columbia City, Ind., Catherine Long of Washington, Martha Smith of California and Rose (Tom) Owsianowski of South Bend; and one brother, James (Joann) Ferraro of Kentucky.

Patrick was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mishawaka, Ind., and the American Legion Post #357.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2003, at 2 p.m. in First United Methodist Church, Mishawaka.
