Mary (McKaye) Ferguson, 86, of Fort Pierce, Fla., formerly of South Bend, Ind., and Diamond Lake (Cassopolis, Mich.), died after a short illness on June 15, 2000, in Longwood General Hospital in Fort Pierce.

She was born on Nov. 29, 1914, to the late Andrew and Marjorie Rettic McKaye in South Bend. Mary was married on Nov. 20, 1934, to James Ferguson in South Bend. He also preceded her in death in 1994.

She is survived by a son, James, and a grandson, James, both of Fort Pierce; three brothers, Andrew McKaye of Redway, Calif., Frank McKaye and Thomas Stapleton, both of Diamond Lake, Cassopolis; and by an extended family grandson, Charles Colpitts and children of Stevensville, Mich.

Cremation has taken place.
