Benjamin F. Ferger

August 3, 1914 – January 29, 1995

Benjamin F. Ferger, 80, of North Adams Street, died at 4:55pm Sunday in Healthwin Hospital and Nursing Home.  Mr. Ferger retired in 1982 from the University of Notre Dame and was employed by Studebaker Corp. for 33 years.

He was born August 3, 1914, in South Bend and was a lifelong are resident.  On May 256, 1940, in South Bend, he married Mary Fekete.  She survives with two sisters, Rose Jurgonski and Esther Olejniczak, and a brother, Edward, all of South Bend.  He was a veteran of WW II and a member of American Legion Post 50.

Friends may call form 3 to 8pm Wednesday in St Joseph Funeral Home, where a rosary will be at 7pm. Burial will be in St Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St Joseph County Inc.
