Mildred R. Ferch

Aug. 11, 1917 - Nov. 21, 1999

Mildred R. Ferch, 82, of 5700 E. County Road 600 North, Hamlet, Ind., passed away after a sudden illness on Sunday, Nov. 21, in her home.

Mildred was born on Aug. 11, 1917, in Hamlet, where she lived all of her life. On. Dec. 24, 1937, as Mildred Strader, she was married to Robert J. Ferch, who preceded her in death on April 4, 1985. She was also preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

She is survived by a son, Robert "Bobby" (Annette) Ferch; six grandchildren, Todd and Michael, both of Hamlet, Rhonda and John, both of South Bend, Ind., Maria of North Liberty, Ind., and Teresa of Koontz Lake, Ind.; and by five great-grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church of Hamlet, an employee of Wal Mart, Plymouth, a former member of Better Homes Home Ec Club, formerly associated with Starke County Council on Aging, and was previously employed by the Starke County Sheriff's Department.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. (EST) on Friday, Nov. 26, in St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Hamlet, with Pastor Tim Miller officiating. Burial will be at the Fletcher Cemetery, Hamlet.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. (EST) on Thursday at the Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel, and one hour before services Friday in the church.
