Roger R. Fenska
Roger R. Fenska, 76, of 2172 Inglewood, was dead on arrival at
Memorial Hospital at about 2p.m. Friday affer suffering an
apparent heart attack in his home. Fenska was the former owner of
Roger's Bar. He was born on Jan.6, 1903, in South Bend, and lived
here his lifetime. On May 1, 1939, in Michigan City, he married
Florence Lange. She survives with two daughters, Mrs. Marianne
Slott of Mishawaka, and Mrs. Joan Stancati os South Bend; a son,
Richard C. of Granger; four grandchildren, two sisters, Miss Nina
Fenska and Mrs. Verna Seifert, both of South Bend.
Services will be at 11am Monday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home,
521 N. William. Rev. Frederick W. Pfotenhauer, Ph.D., pastor of
the Hilltop Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in
Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9
pm Sunday in the funeral home.
