March 3, 1958 - April 24, 2010OSCEOLA - Crystal Kay (Adams) Feist, 52, died at 6:45 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2010, in River Crest Specialty Hospital, Mishawaka. She was born on March 3, 1958, in Detroit, MI, to Leland Jack and Carolyn Sue (Martin) Adams. She was preceded in death by her mother. Crystal's employment included working for Burger Chef, Markley Enterprise, Elkhart Wood Products and the South Bend & Elkhart post offices as a clerk, retiring from the Elkhart Post Office. Crystal studied piano for 13 years and was an accomplished piano player. She also played the xylophone and show-cased her talents as a pianist, song-leader and soloist at local Baptist churches. On October 5, 1990, she married Marcus P. Feist in Elkhart, IN, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Kaylee Sue Feist (fiancé, Matthew A. Bender) of Osceola; father, Leland Jack Adams of Florida; and a sister, Connie Adams of Elkhart. A celebration of life service will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2010, with visitation from 4 to 5 p.m., in Osceola United Methodist Church, Rev. Robert Vale of Osceola United Methodist Church officiating. A meal will immediately follow the service in the church. Elkhart Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
