Margaret Eleanor (Weddle) Faustlin, 62, of St. Joseph, Mo., died Wednesday, July 11, in her home.
Born Oct. 1, 1938, in South Bend, Ind., she had resided in St. Joseph, Mo., for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace A. and Eleanor Gillen Weddle. Mrs. Faustlin had been employed by the Regional Bluff Regional Library. She was a member of St. Joseph's Cathedral Catholic Church, St. Ann's Altar Society, Oblate of St. Benedict's, and had earned her bachelor's degree in history from Missouri Western State College.
On June 16, 1962, she married Bernard J. Faustlin, who survives of the home. She is also survived by two sons, Bernard J. Faustlin Jr. of St. Joseph and Walter Faustlin of Los Angeles, Calif.; two daughters, Judith Wyatt and Mary Koch, both of Kansas City, Mo.; four brothers, George E. Weddle of West Lafayette, Ind., Richard J. Weddle of Hilo, Hawaii, Paul Weddle of Salem, Ore., and Thomas Weddle of South Bend; and by several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Cathedral Catholic Church. Entombment will take place in Mount Olivet Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. and 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. today in the Meierhoffer Family Funeral Service, St. Joseph, Mo., where friends may call after 10 a.m. today. A parish Rosary will be at 7 p.m. today in the funeral home. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to Hands of Hope Hospice, to the American Cancer Society, to Conception Abbey or to the Cathedral School Endowment Fund.
