The funeral services of Mrs. Nathan T. Faurote
were held at the residence in Hamilton Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and were
conducted by the Rev. A.L. Miller of the M.E. church. The interment took place
in the Hamilton Cemetery. She had resided in this county since 1849 coming here
from Oxford, O., and settling on the farm west of Terre Coupee village. She was
married to Nathan T. Faurote, Dec. 22, 1853, and lived at Dayton, Mich., until
1858. She then moved to the vicinity of Hamilton, where she died June 14, aged
68 years, two months and 15 days. She leaves her husband and one son. Mrs.
Faurote was a member of the M.E. church at Hamilton and also a member of the
Women's Relief corps of the Deacon post, G.A.R., of New Carlisle,
Ind.
