Mrs. Sigurd R. Faulk

April 17, 1927 – April 25, 1974

Mrs. Helen Marie Faulk, 47, of 233 Barbie St., died at 1:45pm in Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.  Mrs. Faulk was a waitress.

Born April 17, 1927 in Cullomburg AL, she had lived here since 1948, coming from Alabama.  On February 14, 1947, in Alabama, she was married to Sigurd R. Faulk, who survives.  Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Magley Stanley of Alabama; a son, Danny, at home; three daughters, Peggy, at home, Mrs. Bonnie Pijut of Lake Zurich IL and Mrs. Juanita Rowe of Huntsville AL; four brothers, Sgt. Ray Stanley of NC, Maj. George Henry of TX; Thomas Jerald of AL and James Terrell of Japan, and three sisters, Mrs. Elcie Haeck of Chicago, Mrs Mary Grace Cooper of AL and Mrs. Inez Ali of CA.

‘Friends may call from 7 to 9pm today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Friday in the Guisinger Colonial Chapel where services will be at 10am Saturday.  Rev. Kenneth Mendenhall, pastor of the United Pentecostal Church, will officiate.  Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery.
