SOUTH BEND - Services for Edward J. Faulhaber, 78, of Quince Road, who died at 8:30 a.m. Monday in his home, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in St. Stanislaus-Kostka Catholic Church, Terre Coupee. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a wake will be at 6:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
Mr. Faulhaber retired in 1984 from All-Phase Electric Co. He was born Oct. 10, 1916, in Chicago, and had lived in South Bend for 50 years.
On Oct. 3, 1942, in Chicago, he married Ellen S. Tietz. She survives with four daughters, Carol Faulhaber of San Francisco, Diane Tubbs of Raleigh, N.C., and Linda Nalepinski and Shirley Koloszar, both of South Bend; a son, Edward D. of South Bend; 11 grandchildren; and a brother, William of Port Richey, Fla. He was a member of Polish National Alliance Lodge 83 and the church.
