SOUTH BEND – Frank Thomas Farrell,
68, 1210 S. Marietta Street, died at 10 a.m. Thursday in Memorial
Hospital after an illness of two hours. He was born in New York
City March 20, 1884 and came here 50 years ago.
On April 18, 1910 in South Bend he married
Mary T. Gelder, who survives. Also surviving are 10
children, Richard, Mrs. Kenneth Gollatz, William, Francis,
Miss Bernice, Miss Ruth and LeRoy, all of South Bend, Mrs. George
Tekker and Mrs. Joseph DeNeve, both of Mishawaka,
and Charles with the army air force in Korea, and four
grandchildren.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the
Orvis Funeral Home until funeral services there at 2 p.m. Monday.
Rev. Edward Brueske, pastor of Zion Evangelical & Reformed
Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
