SOUTH BEND Services for Charles R.
Farrell, 63, of 814 S. Dundee Street, who died at 8:55 a.m.
Saturday in St. Joseph Medical Center after an illness, will be
at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Chapel. Burial
will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m.
today in the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to
the American Cancer Society.
Mr. Farrell was a machinist for the former
Wheelabrator-Frye Corp. of Mishawaka. He was born July 10, 1928
in South Bend and was a lifelong resident.
He married Alice Balcerzak. She died
in 1944. He is survived by a daughter, Renee Spier of
Three Rivers; a step-grandchild; three step-great-grandchildren;
three sister, Cecellia Goldatz, of South Bend, Dorothy Tekker
of Osceloa, and Elaine DeNeve of Mishawaka; and two
brothers, Francis of South Bend and LeRoy of Elkhart. He is a
Korean War veteran.
