SOUTH BEND - Stanley Farmer, 58, died Monday, March 22, after being hospitalized in Omaha, NE. Formerly from the west side of South Bend, he spent most of his adult life in Texas. Surviving are his mother, Dixie (Howard) Rice of Arkansas; sisters, Cindy (Sam) Rykard, Becky Farmer and Debbie (Jim) Sumption; and nephews, Paul (Linda) Murray, Tommy Farmer and Sammy Rykard; and a niece, Brooke Sumption. Stanley was preceded in death by his father, Melvin "Tom" Farmer. A family service will be held in Arkansas. Send online condolences to cindyrykard@msn.com.
