Daniel A. (Danny) Fallendorf, aged 53, owner of the Wooden Shoe restaurant 822 West Sixth street, Mishawaka, died at 1:35 am today in his residence, 1021 East Madison street after an illness of one month. He was born in Bloomfield, Wis., Aug. 21, 1897 and came here 25 years ago from Wisconsin. He was married June 12, 1940 to Milliccent Spansail who survives. Other survivors are a brother, Walter, of Mishawaka, five sisters, Mrs. Anna Richardson, of Greenville, O; Mrs. Clara Weber, of Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Ella Heath of Osceola, this count,; Mrs. Esther Ertl of Mishawaka, and Mrs. Alma Utliery of South Bend, and two stepbrothers Carl and Albert Schneider of Oshkosh, Wis. Friends may call in the Orvis funeral home after 7 pm today until funeral services there at 2 pm Thursday. Rev. Edward W. Brueneke, pastor of Zion Evangelical and Reformed church will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery, Mishawaka. He was a veteran of world war I and a member of Mishawaka post No. 360 Veterans of Foreign Wars.
