SOUTH BEND - Alice S. (Piirto) Falk, 96, of Ironwood Health & Rehabilitation Center, died at 9:20 p.m. Sunday in the nursing home. Mrs. Falk was a former cook. She was born Dec. 4, 1897, in Ilmajoki, Finland, and lived in South Bend for four years, coming from Columbus, Ohio.

Her husband preceded her in death. She is survived by a niece, Shirley Flint of Stone Mountain, Ga. There will be no services or visitation. Cremation will take place. St. Joseph Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
