Henry O. Ewing

March 25, 1895-May 14, 1991      

  SOUTH BEND--Henry O. Ewing, 96, of 25515 Trunk Trail, died Tuesday night in his home of natural causes.  Mr. Ewing was a retired farm maintenance worker.  He was born March 25, 1895, in St. Joseph County and was a lifelong area resident.  On March 20, 1920, in South Bend, he married Gladys Miller.  She died Oct. 26, 1966.  A son, Osborne, preceded him in death, in 1939.  He is survived by a brother, Ted of Osceola; and several nieces and nephews.  He was a member of the First Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
     Services will be a 10 a.m. Friday in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood Drive.  Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, LaPorte.  Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home and one hour before services on Friday in the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
