SOUTH BEND--Memorial services for Ernest B. Ewing, 89, of Dover, Fla., formerly of South Bend, who died May 23 in Dover, were May 26 at Memorial Funeral Home, Plant City, Fla.  Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery, Plant City.
     Mr. Ewing retired from Tucker Freight Lines in in 1962.  He was born May 13, 1900, in South Bend and moved to Dover in 1964.  On June 12, 1930, he married Malinda Howell, who survives.  Also surviving are two daughters, Patricia Harder of Tampa, Fla., and Betty Jean Kring of Lakeville; two sons, James of South Bend and Franklin of Dallas; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Henry of South Bend, Theodore of Osceola and Isaac of Phoenix, Ariz.
