Kathryn P. Everly (March 20, 1932 - Jan. 25,
2007).
SOUTH BEND - Kathryn P. "Toots" Everly,
74, of South Bend, passed away Thursday, January 25th, in the
Holy Cross Health and Rehabilitation Center in South Bend.
Kathryn was born to the late Perry and Lena
(Sianato) Tirotta on March 20, 1932, in South Bend.
As Kathryn P. Tirotta, she married Nelson Everly in South Bend on
August 19, 1950. He survives. She was employed as a seamstress
for White House Clothing for many years.
Kathryn is survived by her husband of over
56 years, Nelson Everly of South Bend; and their two children,
Thomas M. Everly of South Bend and Kathryn P. (Frank) Hathaway
of Niles, MI. She was also the grandmother of four grandchildren
and a great-grandmother of three. Four sisters, Edith I. (Miki) Lansford
and Sandra K. Tirotta, both of Mishawaka, Barbara L. Johnson
and Rose J. Ratkay, both of Niles, and three brothers,
Frank P. (Virginia) Tirotta, Joseph D. (Judy) Tirotta and Paul R.
(Allene) Tirotta, all of South Bend, also survive. Kathryn also
had 50 nieces and nephews, and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday,
January 30th, in Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka,
where a Rosary service will be conducted at 7 p.m. A Mass of
Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 31st, in
Christ the King Catholic Church, South Bend. Burial is to follow
at Highland Cemetery, South Bend.
