Henry "Hank" Everding, 85,
of Cleveland Road, Granger, Ind., passed away at 9:02 a.m. on
Tuesday, Nov. 7, in Saint Joseph Re- gional Medical Center, South
Bend, Ind. Hank was born on Dec. 2, 1914, in Secor, Ill., to the
late Anton and Margaret (Seggerman) Everding. He was also
preceded in death by his brother, Louis Everding; and by a
sister, Pauline Beckwitch. On May 31, 1946, in Covington, Ky.,
Hank married Evelyn M. Seggerman. Hank leaves to cherish his
memories his wife; his two sisters, Viola Seggerman of
Edwardsburg, Mich., and Lucile Seggerman of Michigan City, Ind.;
and by four nieces and four nephews. Hank worked at L. Gates and
at Oliver's as a mechanic during war time. He retired from Bendix
in 1965 after 31½ years of service.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on
Saturday, Nov. 11, in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola,
Ind., with visitation one hour prior to services, with Rev. Rob
Neel from the Granger United Methodist Church officiating.
Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola,
Ind.
