Mrs. Harold F Evans
Mrs. Harold F. Evans, 70, of 525 ½ E 4th
St., died at 4:30 a.m. today in St. Josephs Hospital
following an illness of six months. She was born in
Brookfield, Mo., April 14, 1895 and came here from Elkhart 30
years ago. As Edith M. Bickel she married Mr. Evans in West
Palm Beach, Fla., Nov. 8, 1934. Surviving are her husband;
one brother, John W. Bickel, of San Antonio, Tex., and
three sisters, Mrs. Fern Anderson and Mrs. Paul LaDow,
both of Elkhart, and Mrs. John Holm, of Goshen. Mrs.
Evans was a member of the First Brethren Church of Elkhart.
Friends may call in the Bubb Funeral Chapel after 7 p.m. today.

Funeral services for Mrs. Harold F. Evans,
70, of 525 ½ E. 4th St., who died Tuesday, will be at
2 p.m. Thursday in the First Brethren Church, Elkhart. Rev.
George Pontius, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Rowe
Cemetery, southeast of Elkhart. Friends may call in the
Bubb Funeral Chapel until 11 a.m. Thursday when the body will be
taken to the church. Friends may call in the church from 1
p.m. until the funeral.
