OSCEOLA - Michele D. Arata Essington, 27, of Knoxville, Tenn., formerly of Osceola, died of an apparent suicide Thursday in her home. Mrs. Essington was a secretary for Computational Systems Inc. She was born Sept. 2, 1966, in South Bend. Her husband, Michael E. Essington, survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Meghan, at home; a son, Nicholas of San Diego; her father and stepmother, Timothy and Robyne Arata of Sarasota, Fla.; her mother, Linda Arata of South Bend; two sisters, Karen Lundahl of Laramie, Wyo., and Christy Hurst of Venice, Fla.; and a brother, Jeffrey Arata of Venice; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Eugenia Arata of Osceola; and maternal grandparents, Charles and Dorothy Robison of Osceola.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Mishawaka. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Warner Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 7 p.m.
