Sister Mary Andrea CSC, 80, of St. Mary’s Convent died Frioday morning in her residence. She was born Nov. 18, 1893 in Jackson, Mich. She enterred the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross on Juner 5, 1913, coming from Jackson. She was assigned to teaching in elementary schools and served in Logansport from 1914 to 1924, and also in schools in Washington DC, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, Virginia and Texas before returning to St. Mary’s in 1966.

Friends may call at the convent parlors where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today. Services will be at 1o a.m. Sunday in Our Lary of Loretto Chapel with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
