EVERETT P. (SPEED) EMMONS

EMMONS – Word has been received of the February 24 death of Everett P (Speed) Emmons, 65, of Pioneer, Calif., formerly of South Bend. He was a driver for the former South Bend Bus Co. for many years. He was born on May 31, 1915 in South Bend, and had lived her most of his life.  His wife Muriel survives, along with sever daughters, Mrs. Silvia Knox and Mrs. Louise Filip, both of Mishawaka, Mrs. Janice Troester, Mrs. Muriel Martin, Mrs. Bobbie Case and Miss Terrell Emmons, all of California, and Mrs. Dolly Jensen of Washington; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and a sister Mrs. Esther Dyskiewicz of South Bend. There were no services. Cremation was handled by the Chapel of the Chimes, Fremont, Calif.
