Dennis J. Emery, 52, of West Washington Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away of natural causes in Hospice House on Tuesday, July 18.

He was born in South Bend on Dec. 2, 1947, to Eleanor Emery, who survives, and the late Everett Emery. He is also survived by a sister, Sharon Miller of South Bend, and by many nieces and nephews.

Dennis graduated from John Adams High School in 1965, and attended the DeVrey Institute of Technology in Illinois.

Cremation has taken place.

A memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 25, in St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, South Bend. Interment of ashes was at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Notre Dame.

Memorial contributions may be made to the mother, Eleanor Emery, or to Hospice House of St. Joseph County, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637.
