MISHAWAKA - Catherine E. Emery, 79, of North Byrkit Street, died at 12:01 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Mrs. Emery was born May 18, 1915, in Elkhart. On June 25, 1936, in Elkhart, as Catherine E. Fashbaugh, she married Alvin C. Emery. He survives with two daughters, Patricia J. Lewis of Mishawaka, and Rosemary C. Carton of Fairview Heights, Ill.; a son, David A. of Granger; a stepdaughter, Donna M. Borsodi of Mishawaka; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a brother, Joseph W. Fashbaugh of Mishawaka. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Bubb Funeral home, 3910 N. Main St., where a rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Thursday.
