SOUTH BEND - Services for Betty Sue Emerson, 35, of 407 Birdsell St., who died at 12:38 p.m. Tuesday in her home after an illness, will be at noon Friday in Alford's Mortuary. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services Friday in the funeral home.

Mrs. Emerson was employed by Indiana Bell Telephone Co. as an operator. She was born Oct. 19, 1958, in South Bend. In South Bend, she married Michael Emerson. He survives, with her mother, Louise Fisher of South Bend; an aunt, Cozzie Scott of South Bend; and an uncle, Clarence L. Tharpe of Indianapolis.
