SOUTH BEND - Erma E. Emerick, 71, of Sandpiper Cove, died at 1 a.m. Sunday in her home. Mrs. Emerick was born April 10, 1924, in South Bend.

On Jan. 6, 1944, in South Bend, as Erma E. Radics, she married Jack C. Emerick Sr. He died Nov. 14, 1987. She is survived by four sons, Robert of Racine, Wis., Richard of Walkerton, Randy of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Jack C. Jr. of South Bend; six grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

She was a member of St. Adalbert's Catholic Church. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 6 p.m.
