MISHAWAKA - Sherry (Dobrodt) Elliott, 50, died at 8 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2010, in the emergency room at the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. She was born on September 19, 1959, in South Bend, to Arthur A. and Shirley M. (Ford) Dobrodt. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur A. Dobrodt; a son, Patrick V. Dobrodt; and by a sister, Becky Snyder. She was a homemaker. Sherry graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1977, and was an active member of N.A. She enjoyed crocheting, arts and making crafts. Survivors include a son, Niccolas A. Elliott of Mishawaka; mother, Shirley M. Ford of Mishawaka; aunt, Sharon Wiseman of Bremen; uncle, Gary (Jan) Ford of Mishawaka; nieces, Rayna, Cidney and Elly; and a nephew, Colten. Services will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, in the Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, 1109 Lincoln Way West, Osceola, IN, with Rev. Dick Dunn officiating. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Cremation will take place at Elkhart Cremation Services.
