MISHAWAKA - Betty Jean Eisenhour, 70, of Willow Street, died at 4:57 a.m. today in Pilgrim Manor, Plymouth, after an illness. Miss Eisenhour retired in 1984 from South Bend Community School Corp. after 27 years of service as an elementary school teacher. She was born Jan. 15, 1924, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. She is survived by a brother, Richard N. of Brookston, Ind. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ.

There will be no services or visitation. Cremation will take place with burial at a later date in Highland Cemetery, South Bend. Hahn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
