SOUTH BEND - Nancy Inez Edwards, 50, of Mason, OH, formerly of South Bend, died Tuesday evening, October 28, 2008 in her residence. She was born July 9, 1958 in South Bend to Robert M. Edwards, Sr. and Mary June (Bellinger) Edwards and lived in South Bend until graduating from college. She is survived by her father, Robert M. (Joann) Edwards, Sr. of South Bend; a sister, Kathleen M. (Leo) McKernan of South Bend/Naples, FL; two brothers, Robert M. (Janene) Edwards, Jr. of Granger, IN and James W. Edwards of Scottsdale, AZ. Nancy was a proud aunt to nine special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and her two beloved dogs, Mac and Maggie. Nancy was raised in South Bend and was a graduate of Riley High School and Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, MI. She had been employed as a manufacturer's representative for a number of luggage and cosmetic companies. Dogs held a special place in her heart. She was a great joy to her family and friends. Her smile and energetic spirit will be greatly missed.
