Klara Edwards (Jan. 8, 1912-Nov. 12, 1995)

SOUTH BEND - Klara S. Edwards, 83, of Albuquerque, N.M., formerly of Karl King Towers, died Nov. 12 in the home of her daughter in Albuquerque. Mrs. Edwards was born Jan. 8, 1912, in South Bend and lived in South Bend until September. On Dec. 11, 1933, as Klara Markowski, in South Bend, she married William Edwards. He died March 3, 1992. She is survived by four daughters, Claire Peltz of Albuquerque, Jacqueline Zsedely of Mishawaka, and Nancy Minder and Carol Polarek, both of South Bend; a son, John S. of Elkhart; 26 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Delphine Florkowski of South Bend. A son, Jack R., died in 1945.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Sunrise Society of New Mexico, Albuquerque, handled arrangements.
