31, 1993 - July 16, 2009MISHAWAKA - Joshua D. Edlen, 16, of Mishawaka, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 16, 2009. He was born on March 31, 1993, in Michigan City, Indiana, to Daniel and Angelia (Schultz) Edlen. Joshua is survived by his mother, Angelia of Mishawaka, his father, Daniel of Chesterton, a sister, Gabriella Evans, and a brother, Christian Evans, both of Mishawaka, and brothers, Drake and Owen Edlen, both of Chesterton. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Clarence and Sandy Edlen, maternal grandfather, Dennis Schultz, uncles, Steve, Joe and Adam, and an aunt, Veronica. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Schultz. Joshua was a student at Clay High School. He was an avid skate boarder and loved riding his bike. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at 11 a.m. in St. Peter Lutheran Church, 437 Dragoon Trail East in Mishawaka, with Rev. Adam Clark officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until services in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Joshua D. Edlen funeral fund.
